Forsapi s.r.o. - Division Eviprojecter participated in many projects of environmental protection in cooperation with Czech and foreign institutions.
  • Management of Groundwater in Industrially Contaminated Areas (MAGIC)

    Projects:

Management of Groundwater in Industrially Contaminated Areas (MAGIC) – EU CADSES INTERREG IIIB project – (link to website: www.magic-cadses.com) (2005 – 2008)

The principal idea behind the MAGIC project is to optimize water right proceedings while solving extensive underground water pollution and to help restore contaminated areas and protect water resources:
    • By providing guidelines for practical use of the Conception of the Phase Process of Recovery of Polluted Underground Water in Large Areas (the MAGIC conception).
    • By developing emission-focused approach for researches and evaluation of underground water pollution using the Integral Pump Test (IPT) method, elaborated within the Framework Programme 5 - the INCORE Project
    • By verifying the MAGIC innovation process in 4 pilot areas – Vítkovice Ostrava (Czech Republic), Olsztyn (Poland), Trachy (Poland), Stuttgart (Germany).
    • By spreading the MAGIC conception in countries of Central, Southern and South-Eastern Europe (CADSES region) focusin on permanent and systematic improvement of underground water quality

The project is part of the INTERREG IIIB CADSES Programme and uses support of financial resources of the European Union.

The Forsapi s.r.ocompany's Enviprojecter Division, subcontractor of the Czech partner of the project, Institute of Public Health in Ostrava, provides co-ordination of operations.

  • WaterNorm – Marie Curie Programme (Framework Programme 6)

WaterNorm – Marie Curie Programme (Framework Programme 6) – underground water monitoring in terms of damages to drinking water resources caused by flooding of mines (Sierzsa, Poland)

In connection with termination of mining activity and closing of the black coal mine Siersza I (Poland, Silesian and Lesser Poland voivodeships, cities of Trzebinia, Jaworzno and Chrzanów) the drain pump operation was terminated and flooding of the mine started.

The Spółka Restrukturyzacji Kopalń S.A. company was charged with monitoring of the impact of the "Siersza" mine flooding on environment relating to changes in the water regime in the area, providing corresponding steps in terms of damages, verification of mine flooding rate including a complex analysis and evaluation of impact of flooding after the depression will be filled.

The Enviprojecter Division, in co-operation with Główny Instytut Górnictwa (GIG) in Katowice helped design the underground water monitoring in view of impact on drinking water resources during flooding of mines.

The project was undertaken within the EU Framework Programme 6 (The Marie Curie Programme).

  • Focus on Key Sources of Environmental Risks (FOKS) – EU Project CENTRAL EUROPE
Focus on Key Sources of Environmental Risks (FOKS) – EU Project CENTRAL EUROPE – (link to website: www.projectfoks.eu) (2008 – 2011)
The FOKS project, abbreviated form of Focus on Key Sources of Environmental Risks, was adopted within the Central Europe - Priority 3 Program "Using our Environment Responsibly". The project has been implemented since 2008, end is scheduled for October 2011.

The project aims to concentrate corrective activities in environmentally burdened agglomerations for "key" pollution resources.

Main goals and planned activities include:

    • demonstrate and apply innovative methods and processes of complex water right proceedings on deteriorated areas (polluted areas, brownfields).
    • define priorities of corrective measures for key resources of underground water and rock areas pollution
    • provide research activities and define redevelopment concepts using pilot locations
    • specify limits of EU Directives for underground water in polluted areas and brownfields

7 principal partners from Poland, Germany, Italy and Czech Republic take part in the project:

    • Central Mining Institute, Katowice - leading partner
    • Institute for Ecology on Industrial Areas, Katowice
    • Municipal Authority of Jaworzno
    • Munipal Authority of Stuttgart
    • Municipal Authority of Milan
    • Treviso Province Authority
    • Institute of Public Health in Ostrava

The Forsapi s.r.o. company's Enviprojecter Division, subcontractor of the Czech partner of the project, Institute of Public Health in Ostrava, provides co-ordination of operations.

  • Sanitary Monitoring During Recovery of Historical Ecological Pollution in the SC PETROM Refinery in Ploiesti, Romania
Sanitary Monitoring During Recovery of Historical Ecological Pollution in the SC PETROM Refinery in Ploiesti, Romania (2008 – 2009)
The Enviprojecter Division provided sanitary monitoring for the advisory and sanitation company of Earth Tech CR, s.r.o., while recovering sludges from purification of industrial waste waters in the SC PETROM Refinery, Ploiesti (Romania). The sanitary monitoring focused on provision of safe working conditions both at work and for citizens of the nearby village of Brazi. Industrial sanitation and imission monitoring took place in a total of 5 individual steps in 2008 through 2009. Measuring was provided in co-operation with the Institute of Public Health in Ostrava.

  • Sanitary Monitoring during Recovery of Historical Ecological Pollution in ARPRECHIM Pitesti, Romania
Sanitary Monitoring during Recovery of Historical Ecological Pollution in ARPRECHIM Pitesti, Romania (2010 – 2011)

The AECOM CR s.r.o. company provides remediation to recover the oil contamination of sediments in Dambrovice lakes polluted by residues from purification of industrial waste waters in the ARPECHIM Pitesti refinery in Romania. The Enviprojecter Division provides sanitation monitoring for the period of remediation focusing on labour conditions and air pollution in the nearby village of Suseni. The activity took place in co-operation with the Institute of Public Health in Ostrava.

Propositions, control and evaluation of underground water quality monitoring
The Enviprojecter Division as a sub-contractor provides coordination, control and evaluation of underground water quality monitoring in vicinity of landfills.
